You are part of the Living God of the Universe : 

You are part of the Living God of the Universe. Every part of your being is endowed with the quality of Light. Your vivid imagination and the desire to seek perfection are but reflections of the qualities of the Unfolding Living God.

The living God, which we call Light, is the primordial and quintessential Mother:

The Mother of all and your own mother. Her qualities of nurturing, nursing and caring for all beings are stupendous in scope and profound in depth, although most of the time unappreciated.

But the Big Mother only smiles at our ingratitude and does her work. This is one of the amazing things in this universe that we have such a being, which cares for all and does it all effortlessly and joyously.

And what are the qualities of the giving of the Big Mother?

These are generosity, abundance, selflessness, altruism and love — all bound together. At our best we have emulated these qualities in our lives, although being only half-conscious of it. The enthralling thing is that we embody all aspects of the nature of Big Mother. Human biological mothers know it so well. Altruism is in the very nature of life unfolding. For this reason, it will prevail in the human universe. It will because it must, because it is in the nature of the universe.

Selfishness is absurd from the standpoint of the generous altruistic Mother. And is such a puny fellow vis a vis the Cosmic Spider of Light which has woven this wonderful universe.

We are the beings between heaven and earth, originating from earth and aspiring to heaven. We have amazing capacities, such as generating our own substance, including spiritual substance. For this reason we are divine. To be born in the human form is a very rare gift.
