Chamunda, also known as Chamundi, Chamundeshwari and Charchika, is a fearsome aspect of Devi Maa, the divine Mother. She is also one of the chief Yoginis, a group of sixty-four or eighty-one Tantric goddesses, who are attendants of the warrior Goddess Durga. The name is a combination of Chanda and Munda, two monsters whom Chamunda killed. She is closely associated with Kali Devi, fierce aspect of Devi Maa.
The goddess is often portrayed as haunting cremation grounds or fig trees. The goddess is worshipped by ritual animal sacrifices along with offerings of wine and in the ancient times, human sacrifices were offered too. The black coloured Chamunda is described as wearing a garland of severed heads or skulls (Mundamala). She is described as having four, eight, ten or twelve arms, holding a Damaru, trishula, sword, a snake, skull-mace (khatvanga), thunderbolt, a severed head and panapatra (drinking vessel) or skull-cup (kapala), filled with blood. Standing on a corpse of a man (shava or preta) or seated on a defeated demon or corpse (pretasana), Chamunda is depicted adorned by ornaments of bones, skulls, serpents and scorpions, symbols of disease and death. She wears a jata mukuta, that is, headdress formed of piled, matted hair tied with snakes or skull ornaments. Sometimes, a crescent moon is seen on her head. Her socket eyes are described as burning the world with flames.

The goal of meditation isn't to control your thoughts. It's to stop letting your thoughts control you. 🌀🕉🌀 Namaste Beautiful Souls. It's time for Wednesday Wisdom. 📿📿 Yes, No one to lean on, rely on, or blame, You are in full control of your mind, thoughts and your present life. Believe with all your heart that you can do what you were made to do. It may be tough at times, but refuse to look to everyone else for permission. Make your own rules. You can be the most amazing human being in the world and everyone sees rays of light, love and genius when they look at you, but if you yourself don’t know it, all of that external admiration doesn’t matter one bit. Every second you spend doubting your worth, and every moment you use to criticise yourself, is a fresh moment of your life thrown away. You are the only person responsible for your success and happiness. There is no happiness and success to be found by playing it safe and settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living. So start living today. But first you need to calm your mind and thoughts. Let go off all the stress and anxiety. With your daily mindfulness and meditation practice, you can relieve stress and anxiety, you can even break the patterns of behaviour that cause stress and anxiety in the first place. It's the act of stopping, calming, resting, and healing to cultivate a tranquil mind. Just as you can’t see down to the bottom of a body of water with ripples running across the top of it, without calm you can’t have clarity, and this affects your ability to navigate life’s challenges skilfully. By cultivating a tranquil mind, you remove obstructions which kept you from seeing with clarity. Be compassionate with yourself. You can change your relationship with the stress. Work to bring calm to the mind. Tell yourself loudly ; I am strong. I am learning. I am human. I am a growing, evolving being who uses past mistakes as fuel for my journey of growth. I accept myself as I am, and I set an intention to become the best version of ME.!!! Love, Light, Happiness, Peace & Many Blessings to all !! 🌀📿🕉🌙🐍👁🍃🐚🌹💀❤️🎨

THE DEEP HYPNOTIC GLANCE

THE DEEP HYPNOTIC GLANCE
Shiva, the Yogi,
ever immersed in Shiva,
the Tattva, we call Bhagvan.
Meditating upon pure consciousness,
devoid of any form
and yet,
so in love with Tattva as Parvati!
She, who is devoted from the moment she is born
making too the mightiest meditator understand
God is both!
Nirguna and in Saguna,
In Yin and in Yang,
for such is the very stillness and the dance
the posture and the stance
of Shakti and her eternal Lord , Shaktimaan.
Ah, The deep hypnotic glance..
..gateway to Mahadeva's trance.

IT IS ONLY PARVATI, FOR WHOM SHIVA COMES TO THIS WORLD

IT IS ONLY PARVATI, FOR WHOM SHIVA COMES TO THIS WORLD
One sure mark of Shiva, is that He is bound to Parvati. It is said of Shiva that He does not incarnate. Of Parvati's bhakti (devotion), it is said She is one who can make even Shiva incarnate.
He is Timeless, and yet when Parvati manifests, it is time for Shiva to arrive. He is formless, but when She arrives, He manifests form. She is His eternal soulmate, and they always find each other, through the mists of cosmic time, even through lifetimes; such is the magic of their love! For it is said, Parvati is His wife even from Her previous birth, when She was called Sati.
While writing the book #shivatheultimatetimetraveller ,i realised that behind the innumerable tales about Him, at the core of the myriad roles that He plays out, Shiva's story,is essentially a love story, over and over again.

Lord Hanuman is regarded as the Superman, the perfect man

Lord Hanuman is regarded as the Superman, the perfect man, the knowledge body (gnana guna sagara) in man, the immortal man (chiranjeevi), the animal man and the flying human (va+nara). He is a perfect example of true devotion and complete surrender. When lord Lakshman is badly wounded during the battle against Indrajit, Hanuman Ji is sent to fetch the Sanjivani, a powerful life-restoring herb, from Dronagiri mountain in the Himalayas, to revive him. The monkeys decided that Hanuman Ji must leap to the Himalayas and bring back the healing herb from the Medicine Mountain to save Shri Lakshman’s life. So Hanuman Ji leapt over the ocean, and across the whole of India to the Himalayas. Arriving in the Himalayas, it took a long time to find the fabled Medicine Moutain. but he didn’t know which was the magic healing herb. So he wrapped his arms around the whole mountain and lifted it onto the palms of his hand. Hanuman Ji carrying the mountain is reproduced again and again in all forms of art. On the way the sun began to rise. So Hanuman Ji decided to capture the sun under his arm so that he could arrive back before sunrise in time to save Lakshman. Truly in the entire Hindu pantheon there in none like Shri Hanuman, for he is an evolved God, born strangely as a manifestation of Lord Shiva, but became a great devotee of Shri Mahavishnu through Lord Rama.!
