LINGA PURANA

The LINGA PURANA States --
Lord Shiva is the source from where all the different worlds originate. People in their ignorance are unware of the fact that the whole universe is nothing but a medium through which Shiva manifests himself. The various worlds like Maha, Jana, Tapa, Satya etc. and all the natural elements like earth, Sky ocean, owe their origin to Shiva. Underneath the earth lies the netherworlds which are all together seven in number.
All these netherworld have the same expanse as the earth. Rasatal is the place where Vasuki resides. Talatal is the dwelling place of mighty demons like Virochan and Hiranyaksha. It is also the place where hell is situated. All these are ruled by Lord Shiva.
The omnipresent Lord Shiva pervades the whole universe. Once, being confronted by the effulgence of Lord Shiva, who had disguised himself as a Yaksha, all the deities became devoid of their power. Indra was amazed and asked the Yaksha as to who he was. Lord Shiva disappeared without giving any answer and goddess Ambika appeared before the deities. Indra asked her the same question to which goddess Ambika replied--- He was none other than the almighty Shiva. I being the Prakriti (nature) do creation following his instructions. He is the embodiment of Purush (Supreme almighty).
The LINGA PURANA further states that -- The Sun is believed to be mounted on a chariot while on its course of movement in the Horizon. All the deities, apsaras and gandharvas are believed to follow its movement. The Sun causes rainfall due to the process of evaporation. Water is the source of life and is the manifestation of Lord Shiva himself.
The Surya is the source to which all the living beings owe their existence. All the deities derive their effulgence from Surya, who in turn derives its own radiance from Lord Mahadev. Time is determined with the help of Surya's movement. One can not even imagine the various units of time, like Kshana, muhurta day, night, fortnight, month, season etc. without the existence of Surya. The Sun, which illuminates the whole world is nothing but the medium through which the almighty Rudra manifests himself. 🌅🌿🌈🔔🍃🕉🌙🐚🏔🌷💙🍂🐍👁🌅📿🌻⌛️🌿💟🔆💀🌈🌀🍃🌸🔱🕉🍂🌅

Shiva is Bholenath, the innocent God, since He doesn't differentiate among his devotees.

In order to create something new, something old has to get destroyed. So Lord Shiva is more of transformer than destroyer. Lord Shiva protects mankind from many threats. He is worshipped as our savior. Of all hindu gods, if there is one deity that is easiest to please then it is Lord Shiva. That is why he is also known as ‘Bholenath’.
Shiva is Bholenath, the innocent God, since He doesn't differentiate among his devotees. He is the father of the entire Universe. So whenever His children ask for his grace, He grants them the boons, luxuries and amenities. For the people who don't want materialistic things and who live according to Dharma, they are forever protected by Shiva.
When we ask our father something, we are sure it will be granted, Since our parents can't see us suffer. But as a strict father, at times He punishes us for our ignorance, arrogance and bad deeds. And when we repent and promise that we would never repeat our mistakes, then Shiva forgives us instantly, as Bholenath can't stay away from His children for a long time.
Shiva is father and best friend of all his devotees. That is why Shiva granted boons even to Asuras. He thinks that after getting the desires fulfilled , may be the Asuras will change for the better. When the Asuras start to trouble the world, then to save the world from their atrocities , Shiva punishes them.
Daksha Prajapathi abused Shiva. To relieve Daksha of his arrogance, Shiva as the Veerabhadra cuts Daksha’s head but again gives back life to him, after Daksha repents for his mistake.
Shiva can't see his children in trouble , and whenever anyone calls Shiva for help, He comes to their rescue as in the case of Markendeya. He is pure as camphor, and an avatar of compassion. He is the greatest and the Kindest. In the mode of “Tamas” he destroys and creates foundation for new creation when it is the right time. He also protects the world from threat of many demons that are hellbent on creating chaos on earth. So this is why he is also “Sangharak” meaning “Destroyer”, at the same time also our Saviour.! 🏔🌷👁🕉🔱🌀🌺💀🌙🐍⌛️🌼🐚🌲📿🔔🌿🌸🎨🔆🌈🍂🙏

Life can be hard sometimes, it can be stressful , but the power of Shiva makes it easier!

Life can be hard sometimes, it can be stressful , but the power of Shiva makes it easier!
Only Shiva can turn a mess into a message, a test into a testimony, a trial into a triumph, a victim into a victory, a problem into a prayer. Keep the faith, praise Shiva , stay close to him and always chant his name OM NAMAH SHIVAYA - JAI BHOLENATH!.
Remember Like a loving father, Shiva will not give you anything that may harm you, no matter how much you ask him. Know that he has better plans which you are unable to figure out. Everyone is struggling with something or the other, but HE knows everything. Every second of every minute of every day of your life, before you even are formed in your mothers womb he knows you, and has a plan for you, for each one of us. Trust him. Breathe and let go off your worries!
Live your life to its fullest no matter where you are right now. Grasp each day and make the most of it. Life is precious. It's most valuable thing we possess. It has to be cared for. Fully use your God given talents and just never quit. Believe there are reasons for things that happen in our lives. Handle them with a positive attitude and have faith in the future that things will turn out as they should. Yes, we should be grateful for all our troubles and all the bad things in our life. As much as they may be painful, they will open our eyes to see the good things we weren’t paying attention to before! Love, Peace & Gratitude 🌈🔔🍃🕉🌙🐚🏔🌷💙🍂🐍👁📿🌻⌛️🌿💟🔆💀🌈🌀🍃🌸🔱🕉🍂

Rama or Shri Ramachandra is the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu.

Rama or Shri Ramachandra is the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. He is the central figure of the Hindu epic Ramayana, which is the principal narration of the events connected to his incarnation on Earth, his ideals, and his greatness. Rama is considered the Supreme Being, rather than an avatar.

1. Lord Rama’s name was given by Vashishtha Maharshi, the guru of the Raghu dynasty. His name had a significant meaning, as it’s composed of two “beeja aksharas” – the Agni Beeja (Ra) and the Amrutha Beeja (Ma). While the Agni Beeja served to vitalize his soul and body, the Amrutha Beeja rejuvenated him from all the fatigue.

2. Ram avatar is not considered to be a Purna Avatar. His incarnation was having 14 Kalas and only Shri Krishna avatar has all 16 kalas. This was done on purpose because Ravana had a boon & he was not immune against human being. if Rama avatar has been the Purna avtar he would not have classified as a human. He is also called as Purushottam. The two missing Kalas were Paripurna & Swarupavasthitha. this explains why he had to take help from monkeys and he cried as a normal human being when Sita was abducted.

3. One day, Yama came in disguise of a Rishi in order to sought to meet Rama in private. But He put in a condition that anybody who intrudes their privacy should be given a death sentence. Lakshmana was given the task of managing the gates during their discussion. But unfortunately, Rishi Durvasa arrived to meet Rama and demanded that He be let in at once or He threatened to destroy the entire city of Ayodhya. Lakshmana decided to accept the death sentence than to let the city get destroyed. Hence He entered Sri Rama’s chamber which made Rama to give death sentence to His beloved Lakshmana, but Sage Vashishta then advised Rama that disowning a loved one is equivalent to a death sentence. Lord Rama decided to disown Lakshmana who eventually left Him to depart for Vaikuntha.

4. Lord Rama had lifted and broke the bow of Lord Shiva during Mata Sita’s Swayamvar – this has been mentioned only in Tulsidas’ Ramcharitmanas. Valmiki’s Ramayana doesn’t contain this fact.

5. When Lord Rama and Lakshman were searching for Mata Sita in the forest, they had come across a demon, Kambadh whom they killed. Actually Kambadh had become a demon due to a curse. When Lord Rama went to burn his dead body, his soul was relived from the curse and he told him to befriend Sugreev.

6. When Lord Rama, Sita and Laxmana were in exile in the Dandakaranya forest, Lord Rama and Sita had a swimming race. Lord Rama was well ahead of Sita in the race but decided to slow down and let her win because he wanted to see her happy.

7. Maa Sita received Motherhood from four great women.

Mandodari – a great queen (Ravanas wife),
Varuni – goddess of sea,
Pirthvi or Bhumidevi – goddess earth,
Rani Sunaya – queen of Mithilaa (King Janaka’s wife).

8. Maa Sita – A Complete Woman.

Sita is remembered for her virtues and attributes. Her entire life constitutes an example of idealism. Sita is a perfect example of loyalty and morality. Sita is regarded as the role model of wifely love and adherence to duty. Sita is a brave woman of extraordinary brilliance. Sita is a woman of immeasurable patience. Sita is considered as the ideal daughter, ideal wife, and ideal mother, since ages.

Lord Kartikeya, the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati

No photo description available.
To the world you are a dad. To me you are the world.!
Lord Kartikeya, the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, is known by different names – Lord Swaminatha, Lord Murugan, Skand and more. His younger brother is Lord Ganesha. There is an interesting story of a competition between two brothers, Lord Ganesha and Lord Kartikeya and how Lord Kartikeya subsequently chose to live in Tamil region. He is also the commander of Devas or Gods.
Birth of Lord Kartikeya ;
There was a demon named Tarakasura who had the boon that he should only be killed by Lord Shiva’s son. This is soon after Sati’s death, and Lord Shiva was very much perturbed by the death of Sati, so Taraka takes it for granted that Shiva would not at all get remarried, and hence, would not have a son to call his own.
It is believed that Lord Kartikeya or Murugan manifested for the sole purpose of killing Tarakasura. Tarakasura knew very well that Lord Shiva was an ascetic and He would not marry or have children. Hence, he would be invincible.
As luck would have, Lord Shiva finally married Goddess Parvati. Lord Shiva took her to a cave and asked her to meditate. As they both meditated, a ball of fire emerged out of their cosmic energies.
In the mean time, the other Gods being insecure from Tarakasura, sent Agni or the God of fire to get hold of the ball of fire. But even Agni couldn’t bear the heat of the energy of Shiva and Parvati. So, He handed over the ball to Goddess Ganga. When even Ganga couldn’t bear the heat, She deposited the fire ball into a lake in a forest of reeds.
Then Goddess Parvati took the form of this water body as She alone could bear the energy of Shiva and Shakti. Finally the fire ball took the form of a baby with six faces. Hence, Kartikeya is also known as Shanmukha or the God with six faces. He was first spotted and taken care of by six women who represented the Pleiades or the Kritikas. So, the divine child was known as Kartikeya or the son of the Kritikas. Later on, he becomes commander-in-chief of the Gods.!! 🍂🌈🌻💙🏔🍃🕉🔱🍂🍃🌷💙🌷🏔💟🍂🕉🍃🌈💙🔱🍂🌈🌻💙🏔🍃🕉🔱🍂🍃🌷💙🌷🏔💟🍂🕉🍃🌈💙🔱
