It's quite disappointing though, the only thing I am reminded of is Karma Yoga! And Nishkam Karma! Karma yoga as discussed in the Bhagavad Gita is the path of selfless service where one gives up ego to serve the divine in every way. "Love everyone, serve everyone, and remember just God". "Do your best, wait the result in peace! You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty!" Service if done half hearted is no service, you have to do it with your whole heart, soul and mind. It is natural that the mind expects something in return when you do work. But Gita teaches us to work and not expect something in return. Every bit of work that you do can become yoga for you if you surrender your work as well as fruits to God. Therefore, keep reminding yourself to do your duty in the spirit of offering it to the lord. Selfishness is the cause of miseries in ones life. Desires cloud the mind. Shed the ego and let not Maya effect you. This helps you grow in the awareness that you are the instrument of God and that he is working through you. Do unselfish motive less karma, Nishkam karma is explained in Bhagwat Geeta. Keep doing your duty with your heart filled with thoughts of God. Be his sincere devotee, Surrender yourself to him. Dedicate each action and task to Lord, he is our soul refuge, our sole support and all glories to HIM!! Love, Light & Peace ~ Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya! Jai Shri Mahakal!!!!
