Srishti Tandav

 

The ancient sages called it Srishti Tandav—the cosmic dance of creation,” she explained softly.

The movement of the pages slowed to a steady, rhythmic crawl. Shiva pointed his finger at the newborn, swirling cosmos on the paper. “When one cosmic night finally reaches its natural conclusion, Shakti awakens Me from the absolute stillness of dissolution.”

“And then what happens?”

Parvati’s voice dropped to a melodious whisper. “Then, we dance.”
