If you committed a fault against someone, embrace the karma. Face the consequences rather than run away from it. 

The best is to realize that you have just harmed a fellow human being and would want to rectify the issue because you do not want to cause harm. 

Compassion is seeing yourself as one with everyone, and therefore, their pain is yours.

Right whatever is wrong, make things better for everyone, and see unity.
