Our worst enemy is not out outward it is inward, we ourselves inflict the most damage on our own souls, we allow fear to rule our judgment and our choices, we are prisoners to loss and anger, we allow our emotions to run wild, we do not take the necessary time out to be still and pamper our souls for healing and nurturing, we place everyone and everything before us, we sometimes become so hard on ourselves that no achievement - be it big or small - will ever be great enough for our satisfaction or recognition, we have enslaved ourselves in a prison of ego. The enemy to concern ourselves with is not outside - it's within us.
