We have all seen paintings of Shivji with Sati after her passing away. All such pictures are deeply emotional for the Bhakts. But this picture has a very beautiful feature in addition to the Katha of Sati . Note that while Shivji upholds her in His arms, in her own hand a Shivlinga is shown. It means that Even at the point of Death, Sati was upholding her worship, her faith and her great love for Shiva and Shaivism. Aum Namah Shivaya! Jai Bhagwati Ma!
