Why is Light the living god of the Universe? Because it created biological life on all levels of being, from the worm to the gazelle, to human beings, including you and me, and then including Albert Einstein and Johann Sebastian Bach. We are all progenies of Light, embodiments of Light, beacons and propagators of Light.
Light first created rudimentary intelligence in rudimentary forms of life. Then Light made another leap, by creating the brain in more developed animals. Then Light created the mind in human beings. These have been minor miracles of Light, leading like stepping stones to more refined achievements of the sacred canvass of life.
Then Light created Logos in highly developed human beings. This was a major miracle of Light. For Logos was a form of mind, which could see much deeper than other forms of mind. It was not only self-conscious mind. It was a mind conscious of itself, with such a fantastic capacity to reflect on everything. It was not only a major achievement of the human species, which, after all, is only part of the dream of Light itself. It was a major achievement of Light itself, which could finally see the glory of its creation through the luminous mind.

Shiva as the Great Deity of Yoga The quest for Shiva, whatever name we may wish to use, is perhaps the essence of humanity’s perennial search for immortality. Yoga as a sadhana or spiritual practice rests upon cultivating the Shiva consciousness of the highest awareness and bliss. This reality of Shiva is the power of silence, stillness, and non-doing, not the ordinary power of self-assertion and aggression. It works through inaction, peace and balance, in which one is centered in one’s own being and grasps the entire universe as a manifestation of one’s own thoughts. This power of Shiva is not the outer force that displays itself for personal gain, nor the outer effort to control that makes a show of itself to gain adulation. It is the spiritual force that turns things around, draws things within, and takes them back to their source, in which a deep unity remains. Shiva symbolizes this balancing and calming effect of all Yoga practices.

I ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥♥ ♥♥ ♥♥ YOU...............OW MUCH SIMPLE OUR LIFE SHOULD BE.........Sati asked Shiva to show Her his house. Shiva did not have any. "What protects you from the heat in summer?" she inquired. Shiva took her down to the valley full of Deodar trees. "What protects you from the rain?" she asked. Shiva took her into a cave. "What protects you from the cold in winter?" Shiva took her to the snowy peak of Mount Kailasa. "Where do you keep fire?" Shiva took her to a crematorium where there was always a funeral pyre burning. Sati declared Shiva to be Bhola, the simpleton, a guileless pure soul; she fell in love..
