Listening, Kirtan, Contemplation ~ SHRAVAN, KIRTAN, MANAN, the three main activities mentioned in the Shiv Maha Purana are the supreme means to attain liberation.

"O revered Sages! The source of Vishnu, Rudra all the deities and all the other creations is none other Mahadev. Union with the Shiva should be the objective of a man to attain that objective. Listening to the qualities of Lord Shiva, singing devotional songs in his praise and contemplating on him are the greatest means, which help to unite with Shiva." ~ Shivmaha Purana.
Listening, Kirtan, Contemplation ~ SHRAVAN, KIRTAN, MANAN, the three main activities mentioned in the Shiv Maha Purana are the supreme means to attain liberation. Purification of the mind by the help of doing worship and chanting the name of God is called contemplation. Singing devotional songs in the form of stotra, or hymns of the vedas or even in one's own language is called Kirtan. The Greatness of ShivaLingam is described in Shiv Purana. If a person is incapable of following Shravan, Kirtan and Manan then he should worship the ShivaLingam. Even by doing this he can attain liberation from all the bondages of the world. It's mentioned in Shiv Maha Puran that in Kaliyuga when all the castes have forgotten about their respective duties, to prevent the deterioration in the human values listening of Shiv Maha Purana and worship of ShivaLingam is the only means by the help of which a man can achieve benediction. Shiv Maha Purana contains the essence of Vedantic philosophy, which gives worldly pleasures as well as Salvation. Mere remembrance of it and Shiva, destroys all the sins of a man.

The closer you get to excellence in your life, the more friends you will lose. People love you when you are average, because it makes them feel comfortable. But when you pursue greatness it makes them uncomfortable. Be prepared to lose some people on your journey.

The closer you get to excellence in your life, the more friends you will lose. People love you when you are average, because it makes them feel comfortable. But when you pursue greatness it makes them uncomfortable. Be prepared to lose some people on your journey. 🕉👁🕉 Namaste Beautiful Souls. It's time for Day Inspiration. 💀🐍💀It’s sad but true. People jealous of your success are often your closest relatives, friends and colleagues. People you grew up with, who had the same chances of success you did, who see themselves reflected in you. Those who wonder, “why her and not me?” It reminds them that yea they still have a dream, But they aren't hustling to make it happen. People who are jealous of you can bring toxic energy into your life. Sharing less with them is best way to protect yourself from negative vibes There's a quote, "we don’t fear our darkness, we fear our light. We fear our greatness." So This is me just giving you the heads up, when you see the haters coming, even if they’re your close friends, it’s time to keep moving. People will hate you no matter what you do, so why not have them hate you for being great? Why not have them hate you for living the coolest life imaginable? Why not have them hate you for being really happy? And why not have them hate you for living a life that’s so inspiring that people can’t help but talk about it? Love, Light & Peace ~ 👁🕉📿🐍🌙🌿💀🌀🔱🔔🐚🎨

SHIVA TRANCE
The first time Shiva went into a cosmic trance, He was thrilled to bits. And He realised that’s where His story began:
in a cosmic trance.
Shiva was thrilled, because in His trance, there was a vague realisation that, since there was no real ‘beginning’ to Him, so too, there was no end. He was Adi Antt. He was SHIVA, The Ultimate Time Traveller.

SHIVA MAHAPURANA

SHIVA MAHAPURANA
“Tell us about Shiva, the mountain God, respected Sutji,” Shaunaka would implore the master.
“There was a time when Shiva Himself told His story to the forest dwellers, and Vyasa, the bard, used his prolific skill to record the self-revelations of the Divine One." Replied rishi Suta.
"Oh i see, the revelations of shiva in his meditations?"asked Shaunaka
”When He sat alone, He was in deepest oneness, always. When He closed His eyes in self-repose, a most enigmatic dance presented itself to Him; a dance of Time; where the past and the future got animated as players and themselves entertained Him , like performers in a carnival. It had dawned on Him that He was an eternal witness, and thus too, the realisation that the story of all life, was actually His own story.
Shiva would tell the rishis of his own previous incidents.
Through generations of the rishi's children and the forest dwellers, the constant retelling of these narratives of the great forester came to be called the Shiva Mahapurana." Replied rishi suta.
