Why is praying to Lakshmi having the opposite effect on me (I initially prayed to her for money but now when I pray to her I feel content with what I have), can this be undone?

We want Maa Lakshmi to come and give us material wishes. But no one has the desire to be her servant (which is true happiness).

See contentment is very essential in this life. God has given this human life to you. It is very very precious and shall be used to please God and shall not be lived like an animal. If we live like an animal then after death we will enter into animal kingdom, because in animal body we can eat, sleep and have sex without any thought of God. At any point of time one shall curb selfishness and desires before it grows unlimited.

First of all one shall love God and start serving Him to please Him. Sole aim of life is to please God by serving Him when He comes here in human form. God comes for our sake only so that we can see Him touch Him and co-live with Him and clarify all our spiritual doubts from Him.

Benefits:

  1. Major benefit is you will not be in sort of resources for sure. People generally do this for money and property.

Spiritual benefits: spiritual benefits are more important

  1. Any beeja mantra can start your spiritual and chakra awakening. Though there are special beejas for special chakras in the body. The shrim beeja is also potent to start the chakra awakening. To further propagate, u will need other beejas. But u need to work harder for this
  2. The benefits, on a majority depends on ones bhava. The beeja is potent enough to get you darshan of Maa Mahalaxmi
  3. This is also capable for sailing you through different alms and dimensions of your body and cosmos

GOD WILL ALWAYS BLESS YOU !!!

GOD WILL ALWAYS BLESS YOU !!!

Goddess Kali - Why pray to Her?

Jai Maa Kali 🙏

The best way to pray to any God is to surrender completely to them and accept whatever they give.

Everyone must realize that there is only One God.

Just like goddess Laxmi for wealth, Saraswathi for Knowledge. Kali is a dimension for Time. Some would prefer to concentrate on a dimension to intensify their spiritual journey.

Understand the meaning it is conveying through the depiction.

Mercy - Time can heal lot of things that no one else can.

Terrifying - Time, when misused can lead to irrevocable damages and consequences

Kali worship at subtle levels deals with practical, spiritual, theological and philosophical approach towards time and the governing primal force.

Some People believe that worshipping Goddess Kali is dangerous because Goddess Kali is a ferocious and extremely violent form of Goddess

Goddess Kali punishes evil people. It is very unlikely that she would hurt good people. She would not hurt any innocent people, she loves good people (especially children).

What are the benefits of worshiping Lord Vishnu?

There are so many gods and we worship them for certain benefits. We worship Lord Ganesha to remove all obstacles from our path, we worship Goddess Laxmi for money, Goddess Saraswati for learning, Goddess Durga for powers and beautiful wife and so on. However when analysed deeply we find the benedictions received from these gods are all temporary. All these benedictions are pertaining to bodily affairs.

In contrast worship of Lord Vishnu gives us something beyond materialism. Consider the case of Dhruva Maharaja. He worshipped Lord Vishnu to acquire a kingdom greater than that of Brahma. However when Lord Vishnu appeared before him to grant him the boon, Dhruva said “I don’t need anything else now after seeing You. I was looking out for pieces of glass but now got a diamond. So what’s the need of the glass pieces”. See here, how Dhruva’s mind changed after having the darshan of Lord Vishnu. He became desireless of all worldly affairs. But it is not that worshipping of Lord Vishnu will not grant us any worldly joy. Dhruva did attain a special planet called Dhruva loka which is inexhaustible.

Besides Dhruva, there were many other devotees also who attained unparalleled benedictions. For example king Bali, after attaining the dust of Lord Vamana’s feet, he attained fearlessness. In fact Lord Vamana became Bali’s security something which king Indra too didn’t attain.

Similarly king Sugriva too got the protection of Lord Rama and attained the kingdom of Kishkindha. Pandavas, Sudama attained great fortunes and wealth due to their devotion towards Lord Krishna (though attaining the worldly kingdom was never their goal).

So we can see, devotees attain unparalleled benefits by devoting to Lord Vishnu even if they don’t those.

Therefore Srimad Bhagavatam says:

A person who has broader intelligence, whether he be full of all material desire, without any material desire, or desiring liberation, must by all means worship the supreme whole, the Personality of Godhead.” [SB 2.3.10]

Lord Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita:

“O best among the Bhāratas, four kinds of pious men begin to render devotional service unto Me – the distressed, the desirer of wealth, the inquisitive, and he who is searching for knowledge of the Absolute.” [BG 7.16]

So from the above 2 verses, we come to know irrespective of our wishes and desires be it material desires, spiritual knowledge, protection from dangers , attaining liberation from the cycle of birth and death or pure love of God, we should worship the Supreme Lord Vishnu or Krishna. Ratnadeep Ray

What do I get when I pray to Lord Murugan?

Lord Murugan is the God of War, he just doesn't represents the war between two opposite parties, but also teaches us to overcome our inner insecurities, the war inside us.

He is not just the Son of Shiva, but also the Guru of Aadiguru.

He gave Jagadamba the pleasure of becoming a mother.

If you will worship him, you will be empowered not just physically, but spiritually and mentally as well. Aditee Apurvaa
