LATEST UPDATE ON THE RESTORATION, RENOVATION & UPLIFTING OF OUR TEMPLE

We are happy to inform you that the foundation work of Chuttambalam is completed. Special stones for the construction of the floor and wall are being brought from Iritty, Kannur. The ordinary stones for the masonry work are bought from the local suppliers. Mason Sudhakaran has informed we can begin the floor work this week itself. Inner flooring will start only after making the outer construction of the floor perfect. This would help to avoid the errors in measurements.

All works are done under the control and advice of Cheruvally Narayanan Namboothiri. Immense care is taken in each step of the work so that the money and the property belongings of God is not wasted.

The wood 'Malaysian Palluruppu' will be used for the temple. Around 650 cubic feet of wood will be required. In the last committee meeting it was decided to enquire about the rate and availability of wood in different places. After procuring the sufficient details, the Committee and the concerned carpenter would buy the wood.

It has been decided to order the stones for the "Kattila" from Palakad. This will be done under the guidance of 'Cheruvally Narayanan Namboothiri'.

January 15 (Makaram 2) is the Prathista Dinam which is believed to be the birthday of our dear God. On that day there will be some Poojas and Thanthrik Karmas which will be done under 'Kshethram Thanthri Puthusseri Illam Shankaran Namboothiri'. Expecting all of you to be there on that day.

affectionately,
PRAVEEN C
Chairman,
Temple Committee
