What makes Shiva even more amazing is he makes you think. The depicted image of snakes, of cremation ashes smeared on the body, of skulls and ghosts can easily deter many others. But those who understand the meaning behind each and every one of these will find their minds open up to another level of thought, which promotes one to be curious, to understand before passing judgement, and to eliminate fear and promote unconditional love.
It is at that point that the picture of Shiva becomes even more beautiful, because behind every depiction of Shiva is a larger school of thought, a universe of knowledge, and a whole new understanding on the meaning and philosophy behind life
