The best way to conquer fear is through curiosity.

The best way to conquer fear is through curiosity. From curiosity, raises understanding, which may sometimes change presupposed perceptions. But change is good, transformation is good, from change and transformation, we will attain transcendence.

When one reflects on what is light, and what is darkness, we will discover that nothing has changed at all, other than the reflection of light particles, which our sensory organ can detect and decipher. Our mind, takes the reflection of light and its colors, puts together what it sees in a pattern, and presents an assumption that we then consider as truth.

In the dark, we do not have enough data because of a lacking perception, and therefore, sounds we do not know about we would tag to what our mind would assume it to be, and this assumption is traditionally tagged to our experience.

Society has presented us with a lot of stories and movies, many of them being fiction, promoting that darkness contains elements to fear about, and therefore, we use this as our core for our assumption.

In a state of curiosity, we acknowledge that there are information available, but unless we verify it for ourselves, we cannot really ascertain if what was passed on to us is true, or fiction made into fact.

We see these presumptions with the idea of faith, miracles, magic, superstition, and many more. A person who is curious would like to truly hold the tangible, and observe, dissect, and question, then understand through discovery.

Curiosity should not be frowned on, for curiosity brought us light in the evening. When man wanted to know the mysteries behind the sound, and found beauty hiding in what everyone has seen as fear.
