Life isn’t perfect. In spite of all the glossy photos we see in magazines or on Facebook , life is often messy and confusing. In fact, life can feel unbearable sometimes. When we experience pain, or our lives are thrown into a sea of turmoil ; We are plagued with doubt and fear. We may even lose sight of God within the swirling storm clouds.
But if we trust in god , we have the comfort of knowing that there is a calm amidst our storms. You can think of your messy life as a unique hurricane, but just try to have faith in god. Although damaging winds and lighting may fly around you, there is comfort in the arms of the Lord.
Pray to god during storms of life. In these storms, gods mighty powers are revealed to us as he helps us endure what lies ahead. We can count on Shiva , he will protect us, no matter what type of troubles come our way. Instead of allowing yourself to spiral in fear ; pray. Bring all of your troubles to Him and Tell Him how worried you are. Do not be stressed about anything, just pray to Mahadev. He will hold you.
Stay fixed upon Shiva when fierce storms batter you. No matter how much fear may try to creep in, hold fast onto Him. He loves you and he will hold you through it. Hardships can be difficult to accept. We want our world to be perfect ; however, there is no such thing as a life without challenges. Accept your challenges as they come. Amidst the chaos, choose to seek God. Keep in mind that your goal isn’t to control everything ; your goal is to keep close to God. After all, He controls everything.
In difficult times, you can either choose to drown yourself in pessimism and hate, or you can choose to be optimistic. Although it may be hard to see at times, there is always some good in each pain. Our life’s struggles can help refine who we are, help us refocus our priorities, bring us closer to God, and make us grow strong.
