Our Temple's Prathishta Dinam (Our Lord's Birthday) falls on 16th of this month.
For His Birthday celebrations, 'Ganapati Homam', 'Usha pooja', 'Ucha pooja', and 'Navakalasham' will be performed by our Temple's 'Thanthri' followed by Niramala in the evening. All precautionary measures will be taken to adhere to the Covid-19 protocol.
We also had 'Putharivellattam' last year with similar safety measures. We had to inform the Panchayat Police Station as per government guidelines. However, no photos or videos were taken.
The carpentery works for our Temple's 'Gopuram' could not progress due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We will be resuming the works soon as we have obtained the estimate for the wood required from the carpenter to complete our 'Gopuram'.
In the last couple of years, we had acquired 10 cents of land. The 'Gopuram' (stone works) have been completed whereas the 'Chuttumathil' was only half built and we also constructed a 47 metre concrete road leading to our Temple.
For our Gopuram, monetary pledges for the wooden 'Utharam' and the 'Kazhukol' have been received.
We hope to have a meaningful year in 2021.
