SHIVA VIVAH
The Shiva Vivah is not just about the marriage of Shiva and Parvati:
It is the greatest cosmic event when Shiva has to be united with His Shakti. And there are Bhaktas, Ganas, Yogis, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Devatas, even Gods and Rakshasas who have waited for this over lifetimes.
For the creator to be united with His own power in a manifest form, within the world that He created with the same power in a transcendent realm, is something so dynamic that it qualifies as the greatest celestial event.
The Ganas know Shiva and Parvati's marriage to be the time that signals a new phase in the Universe:
The coming of Parvati as their Queen marks the establishing of Sivaloka- A veritable Heaven on earth- The cherished community habitation , where you can actually live as Shiva's tribe, because like any home, it takes a mother to run a perfect household alongside the Paterfamilias.
