Sometimes things happen which seem random, and not contributing to our growth. A typical example is when we have to wait for our appointment outside someone's office. We feel this a thorough waste of time and not adding upto anything. But actually, everything is connected; Just like Quantum physics tells us we are one huge net of interconnected vibrations.

Trust Shiva, no piece of life events is unworthy- One day it starts to add up, and you begin to realise the lila , the dance of Shiva.

Till then?

Be patient, be kind, do your Satsang, your jaap and your meditation. Surely He will come- He has been listening all along.

JNAN ADHISTAANAM MATRKA

Shiva is explaining to Parvati about the extraordinary facets of Shaivism- it's magical creation etc, when suddenly He realises that not only does She already know it, in fact it is Her, who has executed all His visions into existence.

And according to ancient legend, it is Ma Parvati Herself, who asks Shiva to teach all their children His spirituality, if they earnestly want to know. And so, later, while revealing the Siva Sutras to rishi Vasugupta, Shiva acknowledges the supremacy of Parvati, as the power behind all creation in sutra 4 of Shambhavopya , saying 'Jnanadhistaanam Matrka' :

Seated in the middle of the whole Universe, is the creator Mother, who remains unknown to the beings living in this Universe, by Her own design. The whole play of spiritual life, is to get to know that mother; She then becomes the guide that helps us to unveil our own divine origin.

THEN TIE HIM IN THE KNOT OF LOVE

Then tie Him in the knot of love

this God who remains forever aloof!

never here , nor there, nor below nor above.

Tie Him in the knot of love,

so He shall know

the beating of the heart of life

This mad rush of joy, He Himself made

in the timeless day

and then

absented from the play.

Just tie him in the knot of love!

Always stand by what you believe is true, no matter the consequences.

 

Hold your ground.

Shiva has largely been loved and respected,

but not always; Sometimes He has been doubted even by someone as close as His own father in law. But He holds His ground, it is sacred.

If you know your foundation is well intentioned, hold your ground no matter what. As Swami Vivekananda taught, the idea of "holding on to the truth even if you die" essentially means to always stand by what you believe is true, no matter the consequences.
