MAHAKAAL MAHADEVA, SHIVA!

Why is Shiva called Mahakaal?

Because, He is timeless.

Time did not exist when He did.

He is the creator of time itself, along with space.

Time and space and causation are the trinity,

that bring forth our known universe.

And Shaivites believe He creates this universe,

lovingly with His Shakti.

But look at the wonderful nature of Shiva;

Even though He is the creator,

He also meditates along with all the sadhus and rishis and shiv ganas for the welfare of this universe He creates: as seen in this beautiful painting.

He Cares for His bhakts.

THE DEEP HYPNOTIC GLANCE

Shiva the supreme God for who the rishis say the whole world is created with the opening of His eyes ,When He sits with Devi Parvati, He finds Himself sweetly hypnotised!

The whole of creation, is an act of love. The Uni- verse is meant to be a poem in tribute to the timeless love of Mahadev and Devi:

Shiva, the Yogi,

ever-immersed in Shiva,

the Tattva,

we call Bhagvan.

Meditating upon pure consciousness,

devoid of any form,

and yet,

so in love with Tattva, as Parvati!

She, who is devoted from the moment She is born,

making too, the mightiest meditator understand,

God is both!

Nirguna and in Saguna,

Yin and in Yang,

for such is the very stillness, and the dance,

the posture and the stance,

of Shakti and Her eternal Lord, Shaktimaan.

Ah, the deep hypnotic glance…

ANNUAL PRAYERS OF THE KALI KOVIL, 8TH MILE, JALAN SEREMBAN - MANTIN, NEGERI SEMBILAN, MALAYSIA TODAY (6 JULY 2025).

The Annual Prayers of the Kali Kovil, 8th Mile, Jalan Seremban - Mantin, Mantin, Negeri Sembilan was held at 12 noon today and was attended a good crowd of devotees.

After the Annual Prayers, a delicious lunch meal was served to everyone.

And when the smoke slowly fades

does it disappear in you?

and when the prayer is softly said

does it merge with you?

Is it the pyre lighter

or do I need a priest

to inflame and let me drift in ,too.

EVE EVENING PRAYERS OF THE ANNUAL PRAYERS OF THE KALI KOVIL, 8TH MILE, JALAN SEREMBAN-MANTIN, MANTIN, NEGERI SEMBILAN, MALAYSIA ON 5 JULY 2025.

The Eve Evening Prayers of the Annual Prayers of the Kali Kovil, 8th Mile, Jalan Seremban - Mantin, Mantin, Negeri Sembilan was held this evening, 5 July 2025. It was witnessed by one of our Payyan family members.

The Annual Prayers of this Kali Kovil will be held tomorrow, 6 July 2025 from 11am to 4pm. In the afternoon after the grand annual prayers, all devotees will be served with a delicious mutton curry lunch meal.

UPDATING YOUR VERSION

The guide never gives ,

he takes away.

The word Guru itself does not mean one who gives light

but, one who dispels darkness.

What does this mean?

It means simply, that you do not have to be given Godliness;

that is your inner most nature, because you have come from God!

Therefore, just like a computer vendor makes your laptop more efficient , simply by freeing it of unwanted junk, simply by " giving it more space" ,

so too, Shiva is Hara, the one who takes away.

He takes away our negativity:

Fear

Greed

Jealousy

Anger

Depression

He takes away the poison.

And then from the background Confidence, Happiness,Honesty, Trust and Love all re appear.

Shiva helps to "Re-boot" you to the best possible version of your SELF. And then,He gives you constant updates to keep that best version of yourself shining on.

THE ONE

He is the One who existed even before the world began.

He is the One who has been prayed to, even when He was unseen.

And ever since the very first time He chose to make His presence known, Shiva has been loved by millions.

Shiva is a storyteller’s delight. But because Shiva is hugely paradoxical, it comes as no surprise that, much as He is loved by the masses, there have been times when He has actually been maligned in some circles.This may simply be because of ignorance - a lack of knowing Shiva’s real spirituality. Ignorance is not always bliss; ignorance mostly leads to a fear, which then makes up its own stories.

But Shiva is not just a story,Shiva is a living spiritual truth. It became my call to write a book that gives equal emphasis to Shiva’s story and also reveals the fabulous mystic He has always been.
