WESAK DAY CELEBRATION AT THE MALAYSIAN BUDDHIST SOCIETY NEGERI SEMBILAN, SEREMBAN BRANCH, LOBAK, SEREMBAN, THIS AFTERNOON (22 MAY 2024).

Our Payyan family member participated in the Wesak Day Prayers and Celebrations at the Lobak Branch, Seremban Division of the Malaysian Buddhist Society this afternoon (22 May 2024).

A delicious vegetarian meal was also served to everyone.

about how long the world has been around?

how is it around,

or even Why?

or

would you, as the mystics say,

prefer to be in the Now,

now, that you, are here !

ETERNAL FLAME

The moon may wax or wane

life may bring pleasure or pain

but she will always have Him in her heart, her soul

will do anything, sacred or profane

to keep Him in this heart

like that moon tucked in his endless mane

like a wind tossed love she will play out the timeless game.

blissed and blessed in the knowing

that she is His eternal flame.

A WHOLE WORLD CONVERGES!

Deep within your heart

is a smallest point

where all the beauty of the world converges

O Dear One, knowing thus

it is no wonder then

that all the world emerges too

from that heart point

that is You.

TO FIND THE UNCROWNED KING

TO FIND THE UNCROWNED KING

Between the twists and curls

lefts and rights of life

calm down, and find Him seated

dot center, in the middle,

Inside.

When one breath goes

and the other comes in

find Him entering your life, within.

Ida or Pingala, moon or Sun

Find the center, where all is one.

Hatha! be persistent in your yoga,

sitting on the earthy ground

through Guru mantra, raise your divine wing

but not a robotic chant, you are human,

fill it with all your being,

tan man dhan, give it your all

to find Shiva, the uncrowned king.

Awaken to your own light

You are not a sorry little helpless creature

you are the crest of all creation.

You are not lost in an ocean of turbulence

you are at sail in the greatest adventure of life.

You are not dull and unknowing about the world

you are the creator of your own Universe.

You are not an actor who has forgotten his lines

you are the writer of the script.

You are not just the seeker of God

you are, what God seeks.

" Udyamo Bhairava" Arise,

and awaken to your light

you have come from Shiva

your soul lights a million suns.

THE GREAT LIGHT

अनस्तमितभारुपस्तेजसां तमसामपी

य एकोञत्य्रदनतश्र तेजंसि च तमसि च

~ Bodhapancadasika of Abhinavagupta.

The brilliance of the One being's light does not vanish in external light or in darkness because all light and darkness reside in the supreme light of God consciousness.

The light of a candle is outshined by the light of the sun but the radiance of that One being's light is not outshined by external light or overshadowed by darkness. This is because all external light and darkness reside in that supreme light of consciousness.

This being is called Lord Siva. He is the Source and existence of all beings.

The nature of Shiva consciousness is not enmeshed in the duality of pairs, like light and darkness, hot and cold, day and night, etc

but is beyond both. The beautiful part is that even while being the source of all, Shiva is seated in each and every being in the Universe.

Shiva is seated within you as your Divine essence. Dive within and see your own light.
