Sa, re, ga,
accept our invocation,
blessed Goddess,
we begin with your name,
Saraswati!
you are first patron,
to all creation,
as art.
Brahma gives us form and breath,
but learning invests with life,
ah, blessed learning be!
your mystic confluence,
like Prayag,
nurtures the deva, in me.
