An amazing painting from Bengal, showing Lord Shiva instead of Vishnuji on Sesa Naga, and birthing Brahma ji from His Navel.The face is painted exactly in the hermit style of Shiva, with long hair and no jewelery etc and yet this story is always associated with vishnu. Also, the tilaka, looks like the Vaishnav tilaka, and not the Shaiva one of three horizontal lines.or is it the third eye? what do you think. any comment? Aum Namah Shivaya! Jai Hari Vishnu.
