Question: Guruji, how can we control daydreams?

Guruji : Dream in the night!

What is daydreaming? You have a desire but you do not have the faith that you can achieve your desire - that is what you call daydreaming.

You can control daydreaming by having a strong goal and believing in it. Like the scientist who wanted to go to the moon and kept dreaming about it - for him it was the goal of his life but for others it was daydreaming.

Either you drop that it will not happen or you believe! When you do not know yourself, your potentiality, you have no faith and confidence in your dream. Once you have faith and confidence in your dream, it is no longer a daydream!

Attachment happens when we do not do seva; when we lose our commitment to service. When we do seva then attachments simply disappear. Keep the desire and commitment to do seva.

Don't eat more than you need

The restaurant serves you oversized portions. You take more food than you can eat.

You don’t want to disappoint your host. You don’t like leaving leftovers. You feel guilty throwing food away.

Whatever the reason, you end up eating far more food than you want or you need.

This stresses your system, adds unwanted calories and leaves you bloated and full.

Don’t always feel you have to finish it.

In fact, leave the table a little hungry. Overeating can lead to many problems.

Many of us usually undergo this experience most of the times and suffer.

So, don’t eat if you don’t want it.
