THE THREAD OF THE COSMIC MALA

Photo: THE THREAD OF THE COSMIC MALA

Lord Shiva is 'at home' in the wilderness. In this thought provoking art by member Varun Rampal, He is seen sitting completely at ease in the forest with a wolf and a Hyena. A snake crawls across a skull towards his God. This is symbolic of the fact that the creatures of the wild , in their freedom, seem to know that not even death can separate them from God. In this world of infinite creatures and things, we are all like beads, a part of a cosmic rosary (Mala) .And there is ONE single thread that binds together all these beads of life. And that Thread is Aum Namah Shivaye!
