What thoughts does this Divine picture of Shiva dancing bring to your mind?

what thoughts does this Divine picture of Shiva dancing bring to your mind? i will be giving my version in the late afternoon..
thank you all for your truly wonderful comments and insights..
In the absolute, before the world is created, God rests in pure consciousness as ONE. but once the world is made, it is said they descend to this marvelous prithvilok..to share with us.. to play with us..to be by our side..and then...in these manifestations of theirs in our world....
The Gods, are human too.
they have family too
they celebrate too
they sing
they dance
they make merry too.
One of the greatest insights of the ancient Rishis was Vasudeva Kutumbakam- The world is one big family. Essentially the many Gods in Hinduism are just to show the infinite aspects and attributes of God.But even if we think of Krishna and shiva as two different people, even then, they are a Family. This is the central understanding of the wise Rishis: all things are interconnected. And no thing can really isolate itself from the other. All the leelas of our Gods are brimming with examples of other Gods entering the play. Where there is Ram, there is Shiv, when krishna is born Shiv goes all the way from Kailash to have His darsana, and so on. This one interconnectedness, the shaivites beautifully understand and paint as a joyous dance of Shiva. So too, at the highest bliss of Dhyana, one can actually see all things, all elements, all beings , all Gods dance as one. This beautiful picture , therefore , to me , at the simplest level shows that Gods, are Human too! Somewhere in the lofty peaks of the Himalayas , a gathering of the Gods is on, and Shiva entertains His family by dancing centre stage. Ganeshji is quick to literally follow the footsteps of His Father, raising his hand in blessing.May All beings be happy, May all beings dance in the happiness of God's proximity and love. Aum Namah Shivaye!
