Going to a few temples, worshipping God in the house, visiting a few sacred places, doesn't make one true devotee.

जो पवित्तर मन से , निश्छल भाव से मेरी भक्ति करते हैं , उनके लिए कुछ असंभव नहीं है !!
Going to a few temples, worshipping God in the house, visiting a few sacred places, doesn't make one true devotee. True devotee is not devoted to God because He want to make use of Him for his personal or selfish desires. He worships God because he loves Him and cannot live without the thought of Him. He is devoted to Him because he cannot think of anything else other than God. His surrender is so pure and complete that he does not do anything on his own except as as an offering to God. His devotion expresses itself in his words and actions. His identification with God is so complete that his life does not belong to him but to God. "Only if lust, anger and other negative tendencies are uprooted from within through sincere effort, will God dwell within one. How can seeds sprout if they are sown without removing the weeds? In the same way, when there are the weeds of lust and anger in us, the seed of bhakti will not sprout in us and God will not dwell in us.”
