Have you been in a very difficult place in life, where nothing seems to be going in your favor? Where you felt you were at the bottom of your despair, only to find out the next day that you have fallen deeper? In times such as these, it is essential to try to find a deeper meaning to your suffering, its cause and to try to find the means to end your pain, by eliminating the bad karma causing it.

The good news is that no matter how bad the karma you may be experiencing, the Universe has lovingly provided a way to handle it. The Grace of the Universe, or the Divine, is such that you will never be put in a situation that you cannot handle.

Karma is the cycle of actions and their consequences. Karma is also understood to mean what goes around comes around. The law of karma, in essence, is the law of cause and effect. Sometimes Karma is also referred to as fate or destiny.

Every thought, every word, and every deed has a consequence, whether we realize it or not. It is also the intention behind the action. It does not matter whether the action is performed consciously or unconsciously, willingly or unwillingly. For some actions, the consequences are immediate (instant karma!). For most actions, however, the effects do not manifest immediately. They may reveal much later, and potentially even in a different lifetime. The consequences will manifest at the right time and under the right circumstances. It is like a seed germinating in the ground, out of our sight. At the time it is supposed to, the seed will sprout forth.

The law of karma is the law of the Universe. It acts with perfect precision at all times and under all circumstances. The law of karma is immutable and is the sole knower of what we were, who we are and who we will be. It is said that even God has to submit to karma and is powerless against the law of karma.

Everything that we see around us, whether in our personal lives or world events at-large, is a result of the actions that preceded. Everything is a result of karma.

Where you are in life at this moment is because of the cumulative actions and consequences, or karma, in this lifetime and others. Karma is not necessarily a punishment for wrong-doing. Rather, it is a lesson for one’s soul, an opportunity to grow and evolve. Our souls have taken human form to learn and grow on this planet—to evolve on the path of Self-realization. 🌺🌷🐘🌷🌺
