An old prayer goes" Maharaj Bhawani, Brahm Bhuvan ki rani"
The Emperor is Durga Bhawani, who is the ruler of the transcendent and earthy worlds”
Ancient Sadhus also know her as " Shiv ke hrdya Asana ki Rani".
And She is the occupant of the throne of Shiva’s heart “
Devi Parvati also has a third eye like the Lord Shiva she loves , worships and partners through this timelss Universe. She is His equal in vision and creation. She is Shakti, and He Shaktimaan. She is the Hetu( cause) of the world manifestation. It’s interesting to note that in the understanding of Kashmir Shaivism, Lord Shiva is not very keen to create the Universe, His inherent Nature is to be content in a timeless Self repose !
However Shakti urges Him to create, "urja" she shows Him the vision of a large world family; and therefore she is called Jagad Ambe- The mother of the world.The creator God. And tht is why the wise sages say ' Bhavam Bhavani sahitam namami- Shiva is pleased only when we worship Her along with Him, in fact before.
