Many of us may not believe in God, but all of us do believe in energy.

 

We exist, because ‘He’ exists. Many of us may not believe in God, but all of us do believe in energy. Shiva, the greatest of all the Hindu deities is regarded as the ‘Father of Universe’; he is thus ‘Vishwanatha’. Shiva is like our Universe, the ever expanding energy. He is source of energy to our source energy, The Sun.

Lord Shiva firstly appeared as the pillar of fire with no ends. He was then declared the greatest among Brahma (the creator) and Lord Vishnu (the preserver, protector). And it was then, that Lord Vishnu was bestowed with the status superior than that of Brahma. Shiva’s existence was then realised by the Gods for the first time ever.

Shiva is the one who made us aware of the art and science of Yoga. Thus, he is regarded as ‘AdiYogi’ (the first yogi). The ubiquitous presence of Shiva can be felt within and around.

Shiva can definitely be regarded as the protagonist to all of us, to dead and to alive, to body and to soul; to animals and to humans, to planets and to the galaxies. He is the owner of life and the ultimate moto of every soul on this planet (Moksha).

Every person and being associated with Shiva makes him a complete Lord. Without Shakti, Shiva is Shava(the one with no life). If Shiva is energy (for every living being), Shakti is ‘Annapurna’ (the goddess of food). If Shiva is father of every living being, Shakti is ‘Prakriti’, the Mother Nature. Shiva is incomplete without Shakti and we are incomplete without them.!
