1-Do you know, how is the body color of Ganeshji? According to Shivpuran, the body of Ganeshji is red and green. Red is a symbol of strength and green is a symbol of prosperity. This means, where Ganeshji is there, power and prosperity, both reside.
2-Mother Parvati had fasted named Punyak to get a son. It is said that when all the gods were blessing Ganeshji, Shani Dev was standing with his head down. Then mother Parvati asked Shani the secret of this, she told that her vision will not be auspicious for Ganeshji.
But at the behest of Maa Parvati, he saw Ganeshji and he was unhealthy. After a few days, Shivji had cut his head off.
3-Ganeshji has got two marriages. His wives names are achievement and wisdom. Ganeshji also has two sons. His name is area and profit.
4-Ganpati is the son of Lord Shiva but Shiva also worshipped him. Once Shivji was going to kill a monster named Tripur. He worshipped Ganeshji for victory, then he got victory in war.

6-Ganeshji is also known as Ekdant. There's an interesting story behind this too. It is believed that once Parshuramji went to Kailash mountain to visit Lord Shiva. At that time, Shivji was meditating, so Ganeshji did not allow Parshuramji to go inside.
Angry with this, Parshuram attacked his tiles on Ganeshji. Since that farsa was given by Shivji to Parshuram, Ganeshji wanted his attack not to go empty and he suffered that attack on his teeth.
7-Ganeshji is also a great writer. He had written the Mahabharata. The writer of this book is Vedavyas but Ganeshji took the responsibility to write. Ganeshji's condition for writing was that his writing should not stop in between.
For this Vedavyas told them to write every verse only after understanding it. It took some time for Ganeshji to understand the meaning of the shloka and during the same time Vedvyasji completed the necessary tasks.
