'Sankat Mochan' means the remover of difficulties. This is a highly befitting name given to Lord Hanuman who not only removes the afflictions, troubles and difficulties of devotees, but also has helped a lot of important characters of Ramayana. Whenever they landed in trouble, Hanuman ji was there to clear the way and find the solution for them. That's is why Lord Hanuman is called Sankat Mochan Hanuman.

Whenever they landed in trouble, Hanuman ji was there to clear the way and find the solution for them. That's is why Lord Hanuman is called Sankat Mochan Hanuman.
Sri Rama is the first one who overcame his difficulties through Hanuman. Hanuman ji is the greatest devotee of Sri Rama. Hanuman ji's help to Rama - to find Mother Sita in Lanka, go as an ambassador to Ravana, make a bridge on the sea to cross the ocean and fight mighty Ravana - all these superhuman acts helped Rama win the war and rescue Mother Sita from the imprisonment.
Sugriva was helped by Rama to save himself from his angry brother Bali. Rama put an end to the evil deeds of Bali by killing him and made Sugriva sit on the throne. After he became the ruler, Sugriva totally forgot the promise he made to Sri Rama that he would help him in rescuing Maa Sita. This made Rama very angry. Hanuman ji instilled some good sense in Sugrivas mind and corrected Him saving him from the anger of Rama.
Maa Sita was spending her days with anguish in Lanka. She had lost all hopes. It was at that point, Hanuman ji came in search of her to Lanka and found her in Ashoka Vatika. Hanuman ji gave the ring of Rama as the proof of his ambassadorship and pacified her stating that Rama would rescue her very soon.
When Lakshman fell unconscious in the battle field, Hanuman immediately flew in search of the Sanjivani booti. Since it was difficult for him to find the particular herb, he uprooted the entire mountain and carried it to the battle field. The herb was used to save Lakshman. Thus Hanuman ji saved Lakshman.
Vibhishana decided he would take refuge in Rama company leaving Ravana who could not be corrected. None in Rama's camp trusted him. It was only Hanuman ji who spoke in support of Vibhishana and convinced Sri Rama to accept him.
When mighty Ravana had captured Rama and Lakshman and was about to sacrifice their lives to appease Maa Kali, Hanuman ji reached there in time to fight with the demon, kill him and rescue Rama and Lakshman.
After the war of Lanka, Lord Rama was returning to Ayodhya. On the way, he wanted to perform a Pooja to Shivalingam to atone for the sin of killing Ravana. It was Hanuman ji who flew to the Himalayas to get a huge Shivalingam for worship of Lord Shiva.!! 🕉🌀🌈🌺🌸🕉🌀🌈🌺🕉🌸
