I saw this beautiful fresco ( wall art) on the net and wanted to share with you all. I do not know where it is from, if anyone knows please tell us.
However i can write and share my perceptions about the expression here:
Shiva, who is the master of the Universe, who guides all, teaches all, shows the path to all- This very Lord listens in rapt attention to Devi as She speaks with Him. It is regardless of whether She is actually guiding Him in temporal matters, concerning the hugest decisions like regulation of the powers and postings of Devatas, or if She is telling Him about their children Kartikeye and Ganesh, or then if She is simply telling Him Her wishes, or the 'daily things to do' as any other life partner:
The point is that from the decisions of home, right upto the modifications of the cosmos itself, Shiva is sure to take heed of Parvati's views and honor them. Thus too, the sages say " Bhavam Bhavani sahitam namami"
To know Devi's mind is to know Shiva's heart.
And so, He is to be worshipped along with Her.
