LORD SHIVA THE GREATEST

Derived from Sanskrit word शिव , shiv, meaning "benign, kind, auspicious", Shiva is the "creator, destroyer and regenerator". Lord Shiva is a god of ambiguity and paradox. At highest level, Shiva is regarded as formless, limitless, transcendent & unchanging absolute Brahman, and the primal Atman (soul, self) of the universe. Shiva has many benevolent and fearsome depictions. In benevolent aspects, he is depicted as an omniscient Yogi who lives an ascetic life engrossed in meditation on Mount Kailash and is regarded as the patron god of yoga, meditation and arts.
He is destroyer and benefactor both. It is mentioned in the Yajurveda for his both of the attributes, the malignant or terrific and benign or auspicious. Shiva is depicted in the Mahabharata as a figure of honor, delight, and brilliance. The Rudra form of Lord Shiva denotes the wild one” or the fierce God who is the ruthless destroyer of all evils & demons. Whereas Shiva is also known as the Sambhu who causes happiness.
One of Shiva's greatest services to the world was to tame the goddess Ganga , which flows from the Himalayas. At one time, the Ganga passed only through the heavens, leaving the earth dry. After a wise man changed the course of the river, it became a raging torrent and threatened to flood the earth. Shiva stood beneath the river and let its waters wind through his hair to calm its flow. Because of wearing a sacred Ganga he is also known as the Gangadhara means bearer of Ganga. The flow of the Ganga from the matted hair of Lord Shiva represents the nectar of immortality. King Bhagirath had done hard Tapas of Ganga to bring her on earth in order to help his ancestors achieve Moksha. And Shiva held Ganga in his matted hair to prevent destruction of earth due to her powerful flow.! 💙✨🌈👁🌷📿🕉🔱💀🌀🌸🌙🐚🌿🌻🗿📿🐍🔆⌛️🌺🔔🎨🌈🙏🏻✨💙
