THE ETERNAL GAME

Yeh Khel hai janam janam ka re

this my beloved, is a repeated play

it is you, for who, the Universe is made!

And yes ,there is a primal game

to seek and hide and seek again:

Enchanting diversions and fun fables,

whizzing past the globe, far and wide

and just when you are beginning to like it all,

She hides.

She hides, it's your turn to seek ,

we've done it a thousand times,

time for you to learn the other side ,

and just for a bit, your legs go weak,

come now, like you yourself say ' overcome despondence with faith! '

Keep walking, till chance throws a dice and turns the tables :

and then you realise once again,

it was always, always the eternal game.
