LIKE LITTLE JEWELS

You are not a number,

and not just a name,

you are children of the most high

this is the Divine game:

Like little jewels you have trickled down His back

into life,

Stars from an eternal Heaven, whizzing in a joy ride.

Like diamonds and pearls and rubies and what not,

ah the names you give!

Each is precious, each Divine, and yet

you forget from whence it began.

Enchanting is Paradise, as you wander through, with carnival delight

Sang lalli in Kashmir, take heed!

for He, who hides,
