Name and Form “But what of the names and form of God?” asked the snake. “Some religions see God as the formless, all pervading essence. This verily, is the core. It is supreme Consciousness, Omkar, Nirakar, or any other name for the formless. Others, worship or meditate upon those who have meditated upon this core, like Rama, Krishna, Jesus, Shiva, Buddha and others. In reality there is no difference between the two, for, all these meditators, having known the formless, have, merged into it, becoming one with the source. Their forms, therefore, represent the core, only helping you to concentrate on something tangible” answered the Yogi. {The Yogi and the snake}
