SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME
This very endearing picture of Shiva watching over parvati, as she dreamily hugs the Shivlinga, is one of my personal favourites.Many years ago i saw a film called "someone to watch over me", which involved the portrayal of a lady and a bodyguard.
But this picture gives two messages:
The first is, of course that Shiva lovingly protects His beloveds.
The second message has something to do with the states of Yoga, Yogis say, God is present in all the three states, waking dream and even deep sleep. So here we see that Parvati, even in her dream state ,loves Shiva Immensely!!!
