Mallikārjuna, also called Śrīśaila, is located on a mountain on the river Krishna. Śrīśailaṃ, in Kurnool District in Rayalaseema enshrines Mallikarjuna in an ancient temple that is architecturally and sculpturally rich. It is a place where Shakti peetha and Jyotirlingam are together.
