In all humility as a fellow Shiv Bhakt, i can only opine that some things happen according to the laws of Nature-Sristi ka Niyam.Man has, for too long neglected his role in the balance of things.The fury of Nature is something very difficult to control. Lord Shiva has come to the rescue of mankind several times.Three times that we do know are: Once at the Ganga Avataran .The other time to stop Mother Kali's rampage.
And the third time to openly drink the Vish at Samudra Manthan.
What has happened in Uttarakhand is indeed very sad, and here too, perhaps Shivji is doing His best to minimise the damage.
In the meanwhile, we must all rise to be good human beings and generous to our fellow beings. Aum Namah Shivaya.
