Soul Independence
India celebrated Independence Day on August 15. To the world, this holiday marks the day a country declared itself to be an independent nation. However, true independence means liberation and freedom of soul. Just as one country may be a colony of another country, for many of us, the soul has been colonised and taken over by the coverings of the mind and body.
Soul Soars High
Most of us think of ourselves as body and mind, but few realise that there is another part of us that is our true essence — the soul. When the soul declares its own independence from the bondage of mind and body, it soars with exhilaration and freedom. Instead of being bound to limitations of time and space of the earthly realm, the soul experiences its unlimited nature in regions of creation that exist beyond this realm.
Soul scientists — often referred to as saints, mystics, philosophers, or masters — have been exploring these exalted regions since long. They came to the same conclusions. We are more than just body and mind; we are soul.
