The Spiritual Atheist

Photo: The Spiritual Atheist :

The Spiritual Atheist has transcended the world we live in, along with its artificial divisions and foolish superstitions. He lives beyond its deities, religions, dogmas, philosophies, rituals, festivals, prophets, priests and self anointed god-men. Yet, the Spiritual Atheist mocks or disrepects no one. He offers respect to all, but alliegance to none bar the Spiritual Atheist who served as the visible cause of his enlightenment. His spiritual crown does not rest on matted dreadlocks, shaven or plucked head, skull cap, or turban. On his forehead there is no ash, sandalwood paste, clay, or vermilion mark. No sacred thread rests on his shoulder. Rudraksha or tulsi beads do not hang around his neck. There is no amulet on his arm. No holy red thread or religious bangle adorns the wrist. There is no chanting of Vedic Hymns, Namaaz, Lord’s Prayer or Gurbani for the Spiritual Atheist. No Mandir or Masjid, Church or Gurdwara, Buddhist Stupa or Jain Shrine, serve as his place of worship. His is a continuous prayer and meditation on Life. For he sees Divinity in all things, and all things as Divine. Each day is Diwali, Eid, and Christmas. He begins each day as a New Year. Each night, he enters the tomb of sleep. Each morning, he takes birth again.
