Building Social Harmony
For building a strong society, unity, social security and peace are necessary. Without unity, the very structure will start disintegrating. For the sake of unity, members of society should work with dedication to build a common ideal, a caste-less society. We should focus on collective social functions.
All members of society should be encouraged to accept one common ideal, the goal of becoming one with the Infinite Consciousness. While accepting the common goal of realising the Supreme Consciousness, we should identify ourselves as members of one universal family, living together in peace and harmony.
Every one of us should participate in the collective social function without any discrimination. None should be treated as an outcaste. In such an ideal society, belonging to a particular social group or religion should not be deemed necessary for marriage, learning scriptures or for achieving anything.
Lack of social security leads to disintegration of society. Social security is built on the foundation of justice and discipline. Laws should be framed on rationality to ensure the fruits of social security are enjoyed by all members of society. The most important requisites for social security are absence of injustice and strict enforcement of discipline. To establish peace, the mundane and psychic worlds have to be in harmony. Peace in the psychic sphere is achieved by balancing the thought process.
