Lord Shiva is the most powerful god of the hindu pantheon and one of the godheads in the hindu trinity

Nagendra haraya Trilochanaya, Bhasmanga ragaya maheswaraya, nithyaya shudhaya digambaraya, Tasmai nakaraya namashivaya.
My salutations to Lord Shiva, Who wears as garland the king of snakes. Who has three eyes, Who wears ash all over Him, Who is the greatest Lord.  Lord Shiva is the most powerful god of the hindu pantheon and one of the godheads in the hindu trinity. The manifestation of Shiva is entirely different from other deities. Where other deities appear well decorated with divine ornaments, Shiva wears no such attire, but covers the body with 'bhasm'. Shiva is the destroyer of the world and is responsible for change both in the form of death and destruction. He covers his body with the 'bhasm' of the dead body and gives a message to the mankind that the body is mortal and perishable and one day it will dissolve in the soil, the earth. We should not be narcissistic for this corporeal body.! Har Har Mahadev ~ Jai Shri Mahakal!!
