"If an ocean is made the inkpot, the branch of the Parijata tree made the pen and Goddess Saraswati embarks to write the glory of Lord Shiva it still will be impossible to comprehend the greatness of the Lord fully’ ~ Shiva Mahima Strotam. ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒฟ Namaste Beautiful Souls. It's time for Thursday Thoughts. ๐ŸŒŸ Lord Shiva is Ashutosh. He can be pleased easily and made happy quickly. That's the reason people find it easier to pray to Shiva and obtain a number of boons. Shiva means auspicious one. He has been giving many boons for the betterment of his devotees, but yet it is left to them to use the boons in the way they wanted. His acts of compassion are too many to narrate. He helped the world by giving all the good things when the milky ocean was churned by the Devas and Demons. When 14 good things came out of the ocean and poison emerged, Shiva swallowed it to save the mankind. This is one of his greatest acts of mercy. So when there are moments when no one seems to understand you. Those moments when it seems as though friends, family, and society have forsaken you. When those who promised to be there for you did not keep their word and show their true colours. That moment when it seems as though the mountain is crumbling upon you. During that moment, catch hold of Him! He who resides within. He listens, he knows, he understands. Because he is the ultimate witness! Shiva, lord of mercy and compassion, will protect you from all evil forces, and will bestow grace. Neelkanth Mahadev reassures you that His devotee never perishes. In that moment, He manifests as the true friend who always loves you, no matter what!! Love, light & peace ~ Hari Om tat sat ~ Jai Neelkanth Mahadev!! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒ€๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
