There’s more in this world, to be thankful for, more than our parents, friends and love; mother nature. Just a peek around will make you realise that we are grateful to nature for our very own existence.
From oxygen to food and cloth, we are totally dependent on nature, and all these trees and plants have been helping us in sustaining without seeking anything in return.
Hinduism explains that all this greenery around us not only provides us with oxygen and fruits, but has numerous other religious and astrological benefits, which are critical for the successful function of our environment.
It is believed that some of these plants are so miraculous that by just offering those to our deities can reap us our desired wishes. For example, the leaves and flowers of AAK are auspicious to offer on Shivlinga.
Shastras explain that planting the sacred AAK plant at your main entrance or in front of it is considered highly auspicious. It bears white flowers, which are dearly loved by Lord Shiva. Those of who have AAK plant in front of their main entrance are always safeguarded from the attack of negative energy and forces.
If you sense any inauspicious activity around or inside your house, as a result of any evil (or tantric act), this plant is the safest option to cut through the negative force.
