Be kind, everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Dharma teaches us oneness, kindness and equanimity. Compassion is the sympathetic pity for the sufferings or misfortunes of others. And compassion is a great indicator of a highly realised human being. Be one. Think about the frustration, depression and struggles that some of you may have felt or may be going through at this very moment. And Of course lord Shiva is the lord of mercy and he teaches compassion. Living with compassion means wanting to truly know and understand those that occupy your life. So disarm ego and live compassionately. Compassion is what allows us to find inner peace, it gives us the ability to forgive ourselves, the ability to heal old wounds and to remain resilient during times of adversity. But at its very core, compassion is about acknowledging the inherent goodness that is in every person and connecting with others in genuine ways. And ego is often the most prominent obstacles that lie on our path, also to spiritual enlightenment. Spirituality comes from being completed grounded in our realities or our being. The ego often stands in the way of finding inner peace and happiness because it deals mainly with convincing us that we are separate from ourselves. The ego pulls us away from others. Hence Be kind to all, even when you can't be kind, be kind anyway. Making Someone's world a little better in some way is making everyone's world a little better, including your own!!!
