श्रीराम की पूजा करते हैं सभी, लेकिन वह किसकी करते थे आराधना !
हनुमानजी के आराध्य देव प्रभु श्रीराम हैं। और श्रीराम देवी अंबाजी को अपना आराध्य मानते थे। जब वह सीता जी को रावण की कैद से मुक्त कराने के लिए लंका की ओर जा रहे थे। तब मार्ग में उन्हें माता अंबाजी का धाम मिला। यहां उन्होंने देवी का आराधना की। तब देवी अंबाजी ने प्रसन्न होकर उन्हें एक बाण दिया। जिससे प्रभु ने रावण की नाभि में मौजूद अमृत कुंड को नष्ट किया था।
अंबाजी मंदिर, मां शक्ति के 51 शक्तिपीठों में से एक है। यहां श्रीयंत्र की पूजा होती है। जिसको कोई भी नहीं देख सकता है। यह मंदिर गुजरात-राजस्थान सीमा पर अरासुर पर्वत पर स्थित है। मां अंबाजी के इस मंदिर को को अरासुरी अंबाजी और अरासुरी अम्बा भवानी मंदिर भी कहते हैं। यह मंदिर लगभग बारह सौ वर्ष से अधिक प्राचीन है। इस मंदिर का शिखर 103 फीट ऊंचा है और इस पर 358 स्वर्ण कलश स्थापित हैं।

In Ramayana, when Lord Rama went to Lanka to rescue his abducted wife Sita from the grip of Ravana, by fighting a battle with Ravana, Rama had to seek the blessings of Devi Durga. Lord Rama led an army of 'Banaras' (Monkeys) to wedge a war against the demon king Ravana who had stolen his wife Sita and had held captive in his palace in Lanka. But to everyone's surprise, during battle, a boon from Brahma revived Ravana and he worshipped Devi Ambika to support him in his battle against Rama. Devi Ambika joined him and sat with him in his chariot.
This made Rama poignant even more for he now knew it was quite impossible for him to kill Ravana and rescue Sita. Seeing this, all the Gods and Goddesses now approached to Lord Vishnu who suggested that Rama pray for the blessings of Goddess Durga. Rama did severe penance to appease Maa Ambe. Devi Durga granted the boon to Rama that she would leave the side of Ravana so that he could kill the demon and rescue Sita. Thus Devi Maa helped Rama win the battle and defeat Ravana. !
