Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. One day you’re happy and the sky is the limit. Then something happens that throws you off, and you feel like whole world is falling apart. How do you cope with this?

Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. One day you’re happy and the sky is the limit. Then something happens that throws you off, and you feel like whole world is falling apart. How do you cope with this?
Feelings have a strange way of making our whole day different. One single thought, comment, event or atmosphere ; and a new feeling is triggered. Despite of this, we always have the power to not let the feelings affect us. Be mindful, and let feelings not linger. We do this by returning to our breath, and trying to observe the feelings without judgment. Without attachment and judgment, the feelings might suddenly not seem all that all-encompassing.
"This being human is a guest house. Every morning is a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. Welcome and entertain them all. Treat each guest honorably. The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in. Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond." ~Rumi! πŸ‘πŸ•‰✌️πŸ”πŸŒ€πŸ™
