The Man
There was once a man, who had seen through the buoyancy of life. Birth, growing up, fun, games, school, teachers, friends, parents; wife, children, pets, flowers, discotheques, drinks and dineouts.
He was well traveled and amongst all that he saw, he had noted, that even in far-off lands, the essence of humanity was the same.
With time, his awareness grew, and he recorded sadness, poverty, hunger, disease, despair; and conflict. This made him wonder, why life was so contradictory in its unfolding.

The Turning
At this stage, he decided to turn to higher wisdom. He went through the Zen, Tao, Upanishads; and a host of other viewpoints. Although he was profoundly affected by what he read, he still could not clear his mind of contradictions. Even if a child asked what God was, he could give no answers. There were, in fact, so many answers to choose from, that there was no conclusion. He was still left to wonder, for example, as to what there was, when there was nothing. Was God just a hope? A creation of the wise, just to ensure a code of conduct? Or was He something more tangible? How really had creation come about? Was there any facility in the process of creation that could improve the lot of beings sentient and insentient? Or would the whole of creation head for self-destruction; being, In any case, a cosmic illusion, as many had made it out to be?
