Lord Shiva is the God who transcends time and space.

He is said to reside in the Himalayas, on Mount Kailash, which is like the fulcrum keeping this world in balance. People think God must reside in outer space, but He can exist on Earth too. At present, He is in deep meditation. But when things get off-balance with the world, and He is disturbed from His rest, there will be great rumblings. Things may have to be destroyed to set the balance right again.
So it is with nature. We were created from the stars. For life to go on, a star must die because stars hold the building blocks of life. Scientists believe we were created with a “Big Bang”. That’s exactly what happens when a star dies. (Remember that column of Light that Lord Shiva became. That’s when Creation began and it will happen again and again in the Great Cycle of Life: life will be destroyed and new life will be created. And so God was and ever will be). I do believe that the planets and stars of the universe hold even greater significance as it pertains to Lord Shiva.
Lord Shiva is the God who transcends time and space. In the beginning of creation, the ocean of the universe was being “churned”; this corresponds to our own “Milky Way”. Many things arose from “the churning of the ocean”- good things and bad- there was “Amrita”, the Drink of Immortality as well as “Hala hala” or Poison. In his benevolence, Lord Shiva swallowed the “Hala hala” and kept it in His throat so that it would not destroy all of creation. This is why He is also known as “Neelkanth” or “Blue-throated One”. ✨🕉🍃đŸŒŧ🌈👁🌷🏔🍂🔱💟💀🍃🌙đŸ“ŋ⌛️đŸŒē🍂🐍🐚🔆🍃🌀🔔🌈🍂🌸đŸŒģ🏔✨
